Welcome to My Little Universe

I’m EA Miller, author of Entwined Lies—a book that started as a harmless distraction and quickly spiraled into a full-blown emotional hostage situation.

I’ve been reading and writing for most of my life, but Entwined Lies was the first time I handed over a story and said, “Here, have my brain. Try not to judge it too harshly.”

It started as a quiet idea. Just me, a keyboard, and some emotional damage. Then the characters hijacked the plot, refused to behave, and dragged me along for the ride. It was terrifying. Exposing. And unfortunately addictive.

Now I’m working on my next book—more intensity, more ruin, more emotionally questionable choices. If you like stories that feel like confession, obsession, and a punch to the ribs, stick around.
It only gets worse from here.

ISABELLE
Twelve years ago, I made a mistake—the kind you don’t confess to your priest. One night. No names. No strings. Just heat, bad judgment, and a man I never planned to see again.
Then I found out who he was: Luca Abruzzo. Future head of the Abruzzo crime family.
So I did the smart thing—I avoided him. For years.
I built my career, raised my son, and made damn sure our paths never crossed.
It worked—until my investigation landed too close to his business.
Until I ran into him.
Until I woke up with a ring on my finger.
Apparently, I’m the new Mrs. Abruzzo.
And there’s no getting out.
At least not until the case is over.

LUCA
I didn’t know she was in my city. Didn’t know the woman I never forgot was the Chief Deputy DA, building a case that could take my family down.
My father said, Handle it. He meant the mafia way.
I went off script.
She didn’t take it well—stormed into my office like she still had options.
I told her it’s temporary. That once the case is over, she’s free.
I lied.
Because no matter how loud she yells or how fast she runs, some ties don’t break.
Some choices don’t undo themselves.
I’ll always be part of her life.
Whether she wants me or not.
